The Luma — With a Porch
The Auroom Luma is structurally the same sauna as the Halo, built to the same specification, from the same materials. The difference is the covered porch terrace that extends from one end of the barrel.
That porch changes how you use the sauna.
Instead of stepping out of the heat directly into your garden, you step onto a covered terrace. In summer, that terrace becomes the place where you cool down in the shade, wrap yourself in a towel, pour a cold drink. In the depths of a Danish or German November, it's the difference between an outdoor sauna session that feels brutal and one that feels deliberate.
The porch also changes how the Luma reads from the garden. It's longer, more architectural. It looks less like an object placed in a space and more like a destination that belongs there.
What the Luma does well:

The Size Question
If you need a compact sauna, the Halo is your only option between the two. The Luma's smallest configuration is the Cosy 225 — 225cm of barrel plus the porch extends the total length further. If your garden can take it, that's rarely a problem. But if you're working with a tight space, the Halo Cosy 120 or Cosy 150 are the models to look at.
If space isn't the constraint, we'd almost always recommend the Luma. The porch earns its cost in usability, especially if you're buying in a Northern European climate where sessions extend into October, November, and beyond.
DIY Kit or Pre-assembled?
Both models are available as a flat-pack DIY kit or as a pre-assembled unit delivered and positioned by a two-person installation team.
The DIY kit is genuinely assembler-friendly — Auroom designs these to be built by two people over a weekend with basic tools. If you enjoy a build project and want to reduce the upfront cost, it's a credible option.
Pre-assembled costs more, but it removes all the logistics and labour. You confirm a delivery date, the team arrives, the sauna is positioned and ready. For buyers purchasing as a gift, for gardens with access constraints, or simply where your time is worth more than the saving, pre-assembled is the right call.
