Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of veldorahaven.com and any purchase made through it. By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them before purchasing.

References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Veldora Haven. References to "you" mean the customer placing an order.

2. Products and Descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we are able, using specifications supplied by the manufacturer. Product photography is representative; natural materials such as timber, concrete and stone vary in colour and grain, and this variation is a characteristic of the material rather than a defect.

Where a specification, dimension or lead time is critical to your purchase, contact us before ordering and we will confirm it in writing.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices exclude delivery unless the product page explicitly states that delivery is included.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a product is listed at a manifestly incorrect price, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel without charge.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline an order where the product is unavailable, where we cannot verify payment, or where delivery to your address is not practicable.

For orders above €3,000 we may contact you to confirm specification and delivery arrangements before accepting the order.

5. Payment

Payment is taken in full at the time of order via Shopify Payments or PayPal. We do not store card details. We do not offer instalment payment or financing.

6. Delivery

Delivery terms, lead times and access requirements are set out in full on our Shipping & Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

Lead times quoted are estimates based on manufacturer information. We will notify you promptly of any material change. Delay in delivery does not entitle you to cancel unless the delay is substantial and we have failed to deliver within a reasonable additional period agreed in writing.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes on receipt of payment in full.

7. Your Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. The full terms, including the exemption for goods made to your specification and the position on return freight for oversized items, are set out on our Returns & Cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Warranty

All products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Full terms, including our handling of claims on your behalf, are set out on our Warranty & Aftercare page.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Danish or EU law, including the two-year right to a conforming product under the Consumer Sales Directive.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are liable for foreseeable loss arising from our breach of these terms. We are not liable for:

• Loss arising from your failure to confirm access, dimensions or site suitability before delivery
• Loss arising from installation carried out by you or a third party contrary to the manufacturer's instructions
• Indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Installation and Site Requirements

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we supply products only and do not carry out installation. You are responsible for ensuring the installation site is suitable, that any required base, electrical supply, gas connection or drainage is in place, and that any necessary permits or permissions have been obtained.

Products requiring connection to a gas or electrical supply must be installed by a qualified and certified professional in accordance with local regulation. Failure to do so voids the manufacturer's warranty.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, photography and design, is owned by Veldora Haven or used under licence. You may not reproduce it without written permission. Product imagery and specifications supplied by manufacturers remain the property of those manufacturers.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may refer the matter to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby) or use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order governs that order.
