Ordering & Delivery

How does ordering work?

Your order is placed with Veldora Haven and fulfilled directly by our manufacturing partners. Products ship direct to your property — no middlemen, no warehouse delays.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 3–6 weeks from order confirmation. This covers production time and freight to your location. We provide tracking updates once your order ships.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across Europe, with Denmark as our home market. Delivery is included in the listed price for mainland European addresses. Contact us for remote or island locations.

Is delivery included in the price?

Yes — freight is included for mainland European addresses. Delivery is to kerbside or accessible ground-floor location. Crane lifts, garden placement, or site-specific logistics can be arranged at additional cost.

Assembly & Installation

What's the difference between DIY Kit and Pre-assembled?

DIY Kit saunas are delivered flat-packed and require self-assembly — most customers with basic DIY skills complete this in a weekend. Pre-assembled saunas arrive fully built on a pallet; you position and connect the heater. Pre-assembled is the premium option.

Do I need a professional to install the heater?

Electric heaters can typically be installed by a qualified electrician. Wood-burning heaters require professional installation for safe flue and ventilation setup. We offer a heater installation service for wood-burning models.

What foundation do I need?

Your sauna requires a level, firm surface: a concrete pad, paving slabs, or a timber deck rated for the load. We recommend a minimum 100mm concrete slab for permanent installation. Contact us for site preparation guidance.

Can I install the sauna myself?

Yes — the DIY Kit uses a tongue-and-groove interlocking system that requires no specialist tools. Detailed instructions and a tool list are included with every kit.

Products & Specification

What wood is used?

All Auroom barrel saunas use Thermory thermo-spruce — kiln-treated at high temperature for durability, dimensional stability, and moisture resistance. It performs significantly better outdoors than untreated timber and requires minimal maintenance.

What's the difference between Natural Wood and Brushed Black?

Natural Wood is the classic light-toned thermo-spruce finish. Brushed Black is a deeper, contemporary finish achieved through a thermal and brushing process — it weathers gracefully and suits modern architectural settings. Both use the same Thermory timber.

How many people fit in a barrel sauna?

Depending on model and size, our range accommodates 2–8 persons. Each product page lists capacity by size. As a general rule: choose one size larger than you think you need — the experience improves with space.

Are the saunas CE certified?

Yes — all Auroom saunas are CE certified and manufactured to European safety standards.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. For orders above €5,000, bank transfer is also available — contact info@veldorahaven.com to arrange.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT. Danish VAT (25%) is added at checkout for Danish customers. EU customers outside Denmark will see their applicable rate calculated at checkout based on delivery address.

Do you offer financing?

We are evaluating financing options for high-value orders. Contact us at info@veldorahaven.com to discuss payment terms for orders above €8,000.

Warranty & Aftercare

What is the warranty?

Full terms are on our Warranty & Aftercare page. Auroom saunas carry a manufacturer's structural warranty; heaters carry the respective manufacturer's warranty from HUUM or Harvia.

What maintenance does a barrel sauna need?

Minimal. Thermory thermo-spruce is pre-treated to resist moisture. We recommend an annual application of wood oil to maintain appearance and clearing ventilation points seasonally. Full aftercare guidance is included with your product.

Returns & Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours for a full refund. After 48 hours, a restocking or production fee may apply depending on whether manufacturing has begun. See our Returns & Cancellation policy for full terms.

What if my delivery arrives damaged?

Inspect your delivery carefully before signing. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork and contact us at info@veldorahaven.com within 48 hours with photos — we'll coordinate replacement parts with Auroom.

Yes — for trade and developer enquiries, contact us directly and we can provide specification sheets, lead time confirmations and pricing in the format your project requires.
