Auroom makes four barrel saunas that we supply across Europe: Halo, Luma, Nora and Sola. They share the same approach, thermally modified timber built for year-round outdoor use, and they can all be ordered as a DIY kit or pre-assembled. They differ in shape, size and how they sit in a garden. This guide compares them side by side so you can narrow the choice before looking at sizes.

Round barrel
Halo: the compact round barrel
Halo is the most compact of the four and has the widest size range, from a 120 cm model for one or two people to larger models for four to six, plus an Extra Comfy version with a changing room. The round form is the traditional Nordic shape. It has no corners, so hot air circulates around a smaller volume and it heats efficiently for its size. It is also the lowest entry price in the range, from €6,100 ex VAT for the Cosy 120 DIY kit.

Round barrel with porch
Luma: the barrel with an outdoor porch
Luma adds a porch to the round barrel. The porch does not add bathing capacity, but it gives you somewhere to cool down and sit outside the heat, which is part of the sauna ritual. It comes in 225, 260 and 300 cm lengths in Cosy and Comfy specifications. If you want a porch built in rather than added later, Luma is the one. Square barrel
Nora: the square barrel for a contemporary footprint
Nora takes a square section instead of a round one, which gives flat walls, easier bench layouts and a more architectural look in the garden. It is offered in 210 and 250 cm sizes, both for up to six people, from €9,000 ex VAT as a DIY kit.

Square barrel
Sola: the largest of the four
Sola is also a square-section barrel and is the largest model, with a 250 cm size for up to eight people. It is also available in a 140 cm size for one or two people, from €7,200, and a 210 cm size for up to six.

Which one to choose
- Smallest garden or lowest budget: Halo Cosy 120 or 150.
- You want a porch and a cool-down seat: Luma.
- You prefer straight lines and flat walls: Nora or Sola.
- You regularly bathe with more than six people: Sola 250, which fits up to eight.
- You want a changing room built in: Halo Extra Comfy.
